Chelsea are prepared to accept a cut-price deal for Diego Costa according to reports in Turkey.

Turkish newspaper Posta claim that Besiktas have made Costa a transfer priority.

Per the source, the Blues are prepared to lower their demands to offload the Spanish international this summer.

Antonio Conte told Costa via text message that he does not have a future at the club.

The striker does however, have another two-years remaining on his contract and appears to be in no hurry to make a decision on his future.

The report claims that Besiktas president Fikret Orman hopes to use his close ties with Chelsea to try and broker a deal.

The Black Eagles signed Demba Ba from the Blues and have a number of partnership deals with the Premier League champions.

There are however, a few obstacles that could prevent Besiktas from signing Costa.

The Turkish champions are under review from Financial Fair Play and must stay within budget.

Costa is one of the most highly rated strikers in Europe and will not be available on the cheap.

There could be perhaps a slight sliver of hope for the Eagles. Besiktas were on the verge of signing the powerful forward in 2011.

“In 2011 I was on the verge of joining Besiktas but an injury prevented the transfer from going ahead,” Costa was quoted as saying in 2014.

“An agreement was in place, they actually made a really attractive offer.

“I guess God did not want me at Besiktas at that moment in my career.”
