Turkish giants hold talks with Chelsea over striker transfer says Tancredi Palmeri
Reports of Diego Costa being targeted by Besiktas have been bubbling under the surface for quite a while now.
Besiktas manager Senol Gunes became the first official figure to confirm interest in the Chelsea striker.
Gunes said: “Then there is Diego Costa, I want him but it will not be easy to pull off.
“If Diego is open to coming I would not say no. I could not refuse such a striker.”
Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri is now claiming that the Black Eagles have actually held talks over Costa.

Tancredi claims that Besiktas want Costa on a six-month loan as Atletico Madrid are under a transfer embargo.
A source close to Besiktas told Turkish-Football that if Costa were to join it would be on a season long loan as a six-month deal does not appeal to the board.
AS initially reported that the Black Eagles were considering loaning Costa if he joins Atletico Madrid.
Atleti will be unable to register Costa for another six months if they sign him from Chelsea.
The report claims that the Spanish giants would be open to loaning Costa out until the ban expires.
Besiktas are in the market for a striker as they currently have just one first-team forward available, Cenk Tosun.
The Istanbul giants are the reigning Super Lig champions and will compete in the Champions League next season.
