Galatasaray have come close to signing Lucas on a number of occasions over the past season.
Each time the Lions came close to clinching a deal transfer talks broke down.
Galatasaray are no longer targeting Lucas on the orders of head coach Igor Tudor.
Lucas has also been closely linked with a move to Galatasaray rivals Trabzonspor.
Haberturk claim that Lucas is demanding £3 million per-season [€3.5m] but that the Black Sea Storm are only prepared to offer £2.2 million [€2.5m].
The 30-year-old is currently the longest serving member of the Liverpool squad having joined the club 10 years ago from Gremio.
The Brazilian ace still has another year left on his contract and has reported for pre-season training, perhaps an indicator that Jurgen Klopp still has plans for him.
