Mourinho green lights Man United star exit, demands club that will offer first team football – Turkish football giants make offer

Turkish champions Besiktas are the latest club showing an interested in Manchester United striker Anthony Martial, according to reports in Turkey.

AHaber were the first to claim that the Black Eagles are plotting a loan move for the French forward.

Turkish newspaper Milliyet are now reporting that Jose Mourinho has given Martial the green light to leave.

Per the source, Mourinho’s only demand is that he joins a club on loan that will offer him first team football next season.

Besiktas are willing to offer Martial a first team role which will include Champions League football.

The Black Eagles have won the league title for the last two seasons and finished both campaigns as the highest goal scorers.

The Istanbul giants will send club officials to England for talks with United over a potential summer move.

United are reported to be nearing a deal for Inter star Ivan Perisic.

Martial has already been pushed down the pecking order following the arrival of Romelu Lukaku and he could find playing time harder to come by should Perisic also join.

Besiktas have prioritised signing a striker this window.

Club official Umut Guner confirmed interest in Chelsea forward Diego Costa yesterday but did also hint that they are also targeting another big name.

“Everything will be clear, the Diego Costa decision will be made next week,” Guner stated.

“Everybody is talking about Diego but it is too early to confirm anything yet.

“We will find out everything next week.

“We may even sign an even better player, all will be revealed very soon,” he added.

The 21-year-old managed just four goals in 25 appearances for United last season.

Based on last seasons showing Martial could face an uphill task if he hopes to lock down a regular first-team spot.

  1. Absolutely disappointing manager who has zero tolerance on young but talented as well as promising winger player. I HATE Jose because of his philosophy on young players. He doesn`t fit for Man.United future. I am worried about the next year Academy players who are showing some thing that impress any scouts and dreaming to join the first team very soon. If Mourinho is continuing in his old thinking concerning on young players, it will be so difficult to see that shining United again.
