Manchester City midfielder Fernando has been closely linked with a move to Galatasaray.
Turkish-Football can confirm that the Lions are in advanced talks with City.
Contrary to reports circulating in the Turkish press Galatasaray want Fernando on loan, not on a permanent deal.
The 29-year-old is currently out of the Istanbul giants price range.
Galatasaray officials are negotiating a deal with Fernando’s agent Joao and his father.
The midfielder is keen on a move but Galatasaray still have to convince City into going ahead with the transfer.
