Arsenal switch attention towards Chelsea after recording victory over Bundesliga giants

Arsenal managed to get the better of the Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

The two sides faced each other in a pre-season friendly during their tour of China. The game was played in Shanghai at the Shanghai Stadium.

Bayern took an early lead when star striker Robert Lewandowski found the back of the net after just nine minutes.

The German giants looked set to record their third win in a row over Arsenal however, young midfielder Alex Iwobi levelled the clash in the 94th minute.

Arsenal managed to get the better of Bayern during a penalty shootout.

Mesut Ozil played the first 45 minutes of the clash but was withdrawn at half time. New signing Alexandre Lacazette also featured in the first half.

Bayern defeated Arsenal in both legs during their UEFA Champions League tie last season.

Arsenal take on their Premier league rivals Chelsea – who are also on a tour of China – on Saturday in Beijing.
