Turkish giants prepare improved offer to win race for Man City star Fernando, Newcastle also interested
Galatasaray are preparing to up their offer for Manchester City star Fernando.
The Brazilian defensive midfielder is expected to leave the Etihad this summer after being left out of Pep Guardiola’s pre-season squad.
Fernando has fallen down the pecking order at City and was unable to secure a place in the starting line-up last season.
The Turkish outlet Fanatik states that Galatasaray are among several clubs interested in the 29-year-old.

Per the source, the Lions are prepared to up their contract-offer from €3 million to €4 million.
Galatasaray want to sign Fernando on a 12-month loan deal with the option to buy included.
Meanwhile Manchester Evening News claim that Newcastle United recently tabled a £5 million bid for the Brazilian midfielder.
The former FC Porto star made 27 appearances for Manchester City last season. Fernando has another three-years remaining on his contract with Man City.
