Italian giants try to convince Liverpool star to make €25m move, talks between clubs underway

Serie A giants Juventus haven’t given up hopes of signing Liverpool midfielder Emre Can.

Juve boss Max Allegri is keen to add the Germany international to his ranks this summer.

And according to the Italian journalist and transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Serie A Champions are currently working on persuading Can to make the move to Italy.

Per the source, Juve are also in talks with Liverpool in a bid to convince the Reds to sell their star asset.

Meanwhile the Italian outlet Tuttospor claim that Juve are ready to table a €25 million bid for Can.

Can’s Liverpool future is in doubt as the Germany international has under 12 months remaining on his contract with the Reds.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to keep hold of his star asset. The 23-year-old is expected to return to first-team training this weekend.

Can was given an extended summer break after representing Germany at the Confederations Cup in Russia.

The former Bayer Leverkusen man spent his three-week holiday relaxing in Los Angles and Bodrum.
