Liverpool face competition for £17.5m defender target after Sevilla join the race
Fenerbahce defender Simon Kjaer has been closely linked with a summer exit this window.
Liverpool have monitoring Kjaer and are keen on the Denmark international according to Turkish-Football.
The Reds have yet to make an official bid for Kjaer but enquiries have been made.
Fanatik report that Sevilla have become the latest side to join the race for the powerful centre-back.
Per the source, Sevilla are prepared to offer £9 million [€10m] which falls well short of the Yellow Canaries valuation.
The La Liga outfit are considering bringing Kjaer in as a replacement for Adil Rami who was sold to Marseille.

Fenerbahce want Kjaer to stay on next season but would consider offers that meet their £17.5 million asking price.
The Istanbul giants could be tempted into selling the defender for the right price due to Financial Fair Play pressure.
Kjaer’s agent recently ruled out a return to Lille but did underlined that his client would consider a move to a European giant.
“It’s completely bogus. Simon loved his two seasons at Lille, it was a great club for him. But for now, he is at Fenerbahce and still has two years of contract,” Beck told La Voix Du Nord.
“His return is not a possible. There was no contact whatsoever. I speak regularly with the Lille and have never mentioned his case.”
“He is happy in Turkey but if a very large European club makes an offer we will consider it.
“Simon is a very ambitious player.”
Kjaer does have another two-years remaining on his current Fenerbahce contract.
