Liverpool could end up losing star midfielder for free after contract talks stall
Italian giants Juventus were prepared to offer up to £30.4 million for Liverpool star Emre Can according to Tuttosport.
The Italian outlet now claim that the Reds could end up losing Can for free.
Per the source, contract talks between Liverpool and the 23-year-old midfielder have stalled.
Juventus will wait six months and attempt to sign Can on a free transfer next season.

The Italian champions have had all attempts to sign the midfielder of Turkish origin turned down.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has made it clear that Can is not for sale but he has just 12 months remaining on his contract.
If a new deal is not reached Liverpool do face the possibility of losing a star player for free.
Klopp did appear confident that talks were progressing in his last statement on the matter.
“You can imagine we’re involved in talks and we all feel good and confident in this moment,” Klopp said.
“That means they’re not the worst talks but until anything is done or signed there’s nothing to say.”
Can has also been included in the Liverpool squad going into the Audi Cup pre-season Germany tour, suggesting he is part of Klopp’s plans next season.
