Liverpool line-up vs Hertha Berlin could include contract rebel, Robertson set for debut

Liverpool will be looking to keep their summer momentum going after winning the Premier League Asia Trophy against Leicester City.

The Reds will take on Hertha Berlin today in the German capital in what will be a celebration for both clubs of 125 years of existence.

Jurgen Klopp has a full squad available with the return of Emre Can.

The midfielder of Turkish origin was on an extended break after wining the Confederations Cup.

Can has just 12 months remaining on his contract but has yet to sign a new deal.

With Juventus breathing down the Reds neck for Can, Klopp may give the midfielder preferential treatment as a gesture to show how important he is to the team.

Klopp wants Can to sign an extension but an agreement has yet to be reached.

Summer signing Andrew Robertson could make his debut after joining on a £10million deal.

Danny Ings and Sadio Mane have recovered from injury as has Jordan Henderson and while Klopp is expected to give them playing time he may decide to introduce them back towards the later stages of the game as they could be lacking match fitness.
