Liverpool confirmed line-up vs Bayern Munich – Star duo start amid reports linking them with summer exit
Liverpool take on the Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich in the semi-final of the Audi Cup tonight.
The clash will take place at Bayern’s home, the Allianz Arena. The pre-season encounter kick-off’s at 19:30 and can be watched live on ITV4.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has opted to field a strong starting lineup. Both Emre Can and Philippe Coutinho start for the Reds tonight.
Barcelona have been linked with a move for Liverpool’s Brazil international Philippe Coutinho in recent weeks. However, the Merseyside based club appear to have no intention of selling their star man and Coutinho starts against Bayern.
Emre Can – who has recently been linked with a move to Juventus – also starts in midfield tonight. Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has stated that he has no intention of selling his star midfielder.
