West Ham transfer news: Star midfielder set for Hammers exit – expected in Istanbul today

West Ham United winger Sofiane Feghouli is on the verge of move away from the Premier League.

A source close to the club has confirmed to Turkish-Football that Feghouli will arrive in Istanbul today. The Algeria international will undergo a medical before putting pen-to-paper on a deal with Galatasaray.

The transfer saga between Feghouli and Galatasaray has been on-going for the past month.

According to Fanatik, the former Valencia winger will earn €3.5 million per season.

The Turkish giants have been busy this summer during the transfer window. Bafétimbi Gomis, Younes Belhanda, Maicon, Mariano and Badou Ndiaye have already joined the Lions this season.

Feghouli star netted four goals in 27 appearances for West Ham United last season. the Algeria international joined West Ham from Valencia on a free-transfer last year.

Galatasaray will be without European football this season following a shock defeat at the hands of Östersunds in the Europa League qualification round.
