Arsenal team news: Arsene Wenger facing major selection issues ahead of Leicester clash
Arsenal take on the 2015-16 Premier League champions Leicester City for their season opener on Friday night.
The game takes place at the Emirates and kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 (GMT).
Arsenal come into the game in high spirits following a victory over their rivals Chelsea for the Community Shield.
The north London-based club finished last season in fifth-placed. Arsene Wenger’s side will be determined to right the wrongs of the previous 12 months by mounting a serious title challenge.

Arsenal team news:
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is facing major selection problems ahead of Friday’s clash with Leicester City.
Chile international Alexis Sanchez has been ruled out with an abdominal strain. Laurent Koscielny will miss the game due to a suspension which he picked up last season.
Meanwhile Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey and Per Mertesacker are all injury doubts going into Friday night’s game.
Both Ozil and Sanchez have under 12 months remaining on their contracts with Arsenal. Neither player has so far agreed terms on a new deal.
