Watford v Liverpool: Probable Lineups – Reds go into opening game of season amid Coutinho transfer saga
Liverpool travel down south this weekend to take on Watford FC in their first game of the 2017-18 Premier League season.
The Hornets will be hoping to improve upon last season’s showing following the appointment of Marco Silva. The Portuguese tactician has added Richarlison, Andre Gray, Tom Cleverley, Nathaniel Chalobah, Kiko Femenia, Will Hughes and Daniel Bachmann to his squad this summer.
Liverpool meanwhile have had a relatively quite transfer window. Former Chelsea star Mo Salah is the Reds only notable signing over the summer window.
Philippe Coutinho’s future at Liverpool remains in doubt. The Merseyside based club have so far resisted several bids from Barcelona for their star man. The Brazil international is set to start Saturday’s clash on the bench due to the speculation surrounding him.
