Barcelona midfielder’s future depends on £137m Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho transfer
Barcelona star playmaker Arda Turan’s future at the club depends on whether the La Liga giants can find a replacement for Neymar Jr this summer.
A source close to the player has told Turkish-Football.com that the Turkey international’s future is currently on hold. Per the source, Barcelona may yet keep Turan at the club if they are unable to sign Philipe Coutinho from Liverpool.
Turan is understood to be willing to remain at Barcelona if he is assured a role in the side by manager Ernesto Valverde.
If the former Atletico Madrid star remains at Barca, he will be competing for a slot in the starting eleven to fill the void left by Neymar.
Turkish giants Galatasaray have held talks with Barcelona in recent weeks. The Lions want to sign Turan on a season-long loan.

Meanwhile, the Sun clams that Barcelona are readying a mega £137 million offer to Liverpool for Coutinho.
However, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has told Sky Germany that his star man is not for sale.
“Liverpool is not a club that has to sell players, that is set in stone. So what they pay in the end doesn’t matter.
“From a financial standpoint, there is no price limit to let him go or a price that we are ready to give in.”
