Tottenham transfer news: £30m Moussa Sissoko set to join Euro club, Player jetting out within hours

Out of favour Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko is set to join Turkish giants Trabzonspor.

The Turkish outlet Fanatik claim Trabzonspor President Muharrem Usta has held face-to-face talks with Tottenham. Per the source, a one-year loan deal has been agreed.

Fanatik go onto state that the 28-year-old will jet out to Turkey to complete his move to Trabzonspor within the next 24 hours.

The Black Sea based club are desperate to make a big-name signing this summer to celebrate their 50th year anniversary since the foundation of the club.

The France international joined Tottenham from Newcastle United for a lofty £30 million (BBC) last summer.

Sissoko failed to cement a regular place in Tottenham’s starting lineup. The former Newcastle man registered four assists in 34 games for Spurs last season.

Tottenham will be hoping to bounce back from a 2-1 defeat at the hands of their rivals Chelsea, when they host Burnley FC at Wembley this weekend.

  1. Good, hopefully he will just stay there. Every time he turned out for Spurs (except maybe against Newcastle)…he was a waste of space.
