Sunderland transfer news: Black Cats ace in talks with Turkish club, player wants out
Turkish Super League minnows Alanyaspor have been linked with a move for Sunderland star midfielder Wahbi Khazri.
The Tunisia international is expected to leave the Black Cats before the window slams shut later this week.
According to the Turkish outlet SporunDibi, Alanyaspor are preparing a bid for the 26-year-old. Per the source, Alanyaspor are already ‘in talks’ with Khazri’s representatives.
Khazri has fallen out-of-favour with Sunderland fans after signalling his intention to leave the club. Black Cat’s fans turned on the Tunisia international during Sunderland’s 3-0 defeat to Barnsley.

“In my head, I want to leave,” Khazri told SFR Sport.
“I am open to listening to offers and projects and above all I am looking for a project that allows me to kick-start and enjoy life on the pitch.
“My priority is to stay in the Premier League. When you have tasted the Premier League, you don’t want to leave it. I am open to all leagues and clubs.”
The midfielder made the move to Sunderland under Sam Allardyce back in January 2016. Khazri played an important role in his sides run towards safety which included a wonder goal against Chelsea.
Khazri provided one assist and scored one goal in 23 appearances for Sunderland last season. The former Bastia star has featured in five games for the Black Cats this season.
Sunderland take on Sheffield United in their next Championship game on September 9.
