(Video) “3 stripes on my back” – Germany international Ilkay Gundogan nears Man City return
Manchester City midfielder playmaker Ilkay Gundogan is nearing full fitness following a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Gundogan has been out injured since last December and is yet to feature for City this season.
The 26-year-old began training over the summer and is close to returning to Pep Guardiola’s first team squad.
Gundogan shared a photo of himself working out in the gym and included the following caption, “1 goal on my mind. 2 ropes in my hands. 3 stripes on my back!”
