Crystal Palace transfer news: £7m Everton striker deal fell through over agent fee

Oumar Niassi came close to leaving Everton over the summer transfer window.

The Senegal international has been left out of Ronald Koeman’s squad after spending last season out on-loan with Hull City.

According to the Daily Mail, a deal was in place on transfer deadline day for Niasse to make the move to Crystal Palace.

However, the deal fell through after the Eagles were unable to agree a fee with the player’s agent.

Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce appear to be Niasse’s only chance of playing first-team football this season.

Fener are interested in signing the 27-year-old on a 12-month loan deal.

Fanatik claim that Fenerbahce have tabled a €2 million offer to sign Niasse on loan. Per the source, the Istanbul giants also want to include an option-to-buy within the deal.

Niasse is no stranger to the playing in Turkey. The 27-year-old spent two seasons playing for Akhisar Belediyespor.
