Super Lig giants complete move for Tottenham flop after Diego Costa deal with Chelsea falls through

Fenerbahce have completed a move for Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen.

A source close to the club revealed to Turkish-Football that an agreement has been reach and that a loan transfer has been completed.

The Yellow Canaries made a last ditch move for Jannsen after attemps to sign Chelsea forward Diego Costa hit the rocks.

Fenerbahce were on the verge of completing a loan move for the Spanish international but the deal broke down at the last stages.

The Super Lig giants were desperate for a striker following injury to Robin van Persie and Fernandao.

Janssen will join former Tottenham striker Roberto Soldado at Fenerbahce.

The Netherlands international has struggled to settle in at White Hart Lane following a £19.89 million [Transfermarkt] move from AZ Alkmaar.

Janssen has six goals and four assists in 39 appearances for Spurs in all competitions since joining the club in 2016.

The Dutch striker has another three-years remaining on his contract and the loan to Fenerbahce does not include a buyout clause option.
