‘My condolences’ – Tottenham fans troll Fenerbahce on social media after Janssen & Soldado transfers
Fenerbahce completed the transfer of Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen on loan on transfer deadline.
Janssen will join former Spurs forward Roberto Soldado in the process.
Soldado and Janssen were both big money signings for the North London based outfit but did not exactly hit the ground running.

Neither striker managed to settle in and really live up to their reputation at Spurs.
Tottenham fans were pretty surprised to see two former strikers end up at Fenerbahce together.
We took a look at how Spurs fans reacted on social media to the latest developments.
Not everyone seems convinced.
My condolences to fenerbahce with soldado and janssen in the same team literally doesn’t get any worse than that

Fenerbahce seem eager to not win the league this season. A strike force of Soldado and Janssen is pretty hopeless

I’m getting a strong smell of irony.
I have just been reminded that Vincent Janssen and Roberto Soldado will now form the most feared strikeforce in Europe. Funny world.

Fenerbahce have signed Vincent Janssen on loan from Spurs.
Spurs fans will hold fond memories of his 7 minutes a week of misplaced touches. pic.twitter.com/ITHper8AxD

It sounds like a MEME but I promise you it is real.
When you realise Fenerbahce’s strike partnership for the season will be Vincent Janssen and Roberto Soldado… pic.twitter.com/WSJYKJpOnZ

Well if you put it like that…
Vincent Janssen at Tottenham:
38 matches
6 goals
4 penaltiesSo, 2 goals in 38 matches then. What a great striker ?
— mephobia (@mephobia8) September 8, 2017
He was pretty decent at AZ Alkmaar though
Az Alkmaar 15/16
34 matches
27 goals— Semih Mert Sırel (@semihmertt10) September 8, 2017
Perhaps the slowest strike partnership since… well since forever.
Robin van Persie, Roberto Soldado, Vincent Janssen: Fenerbahce really going for pace up front this season.

Slowest forward line ever too ? ? pic.twitter.com/I2lKI4AJKf

I can see this happening.
Go on to score a silly amount of goals together. Everyone scratches their head. The End.

Tottenham fans should be very careful in what they say. Their team are an injury to Harry Kane away from being out of the top 6. Llorente isn’t the saviour when overrated Kane is out on the sidelines.
