Liverpool news: Klopp ‘not impressed’ with star midfielder behaviour after latest demands
Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can’s future at the Merseyside based club appears to be in doubt.
The Germany international has under 10 months remaining on his contract with the Reds. A report in the Times recently claimed that Can is unwilling to pen a new deal unless a release-clause is included.
Liverpool are however not keen on including a release clause in Can’s contract. Meanwhile Italian outlet Calciomercato states that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is unhappy with the Germany international following his latest demands.
The German tactician has stayed faithful to the player and wants a definitive answer from Can within a few weeks.
Unless Liverpool can reach an agreement with Can, the 23-year-old could begin talks with foreign clubs in January over a free transfer next summer.
