Mesut Özil welcomes Theo Walcott to the Adidas football family [divider]
Arsenal star Mesut Özil took to social media to welcome teammate Theo Walcott to the Adidas football family.
Özil tweeted: “I proudly welcome @theowalcott to our @adidasfootball family! 😉 Now we must focus on tomorrow! #therewillbehaters.”

Mesut Ozil reveals he has a sixth sense
Walcott will become one of the leading faces for the Adidas brand and will wore the new adiZero F50 in Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
“I am excited to be joining adidas and lining up alongside some of the world’s best players,” said Walcott in a press release. The adidas adiZero F50 is an exceptional boot and I am looking forward to scoring goals in them,” Walcott was quoted as saying by the Independent.
Özil signed a contract with Adidas in 2013 believes to be worth in the region of €25 million to promote and wear their products. The deal will run until 2020.
The World Cup winner has scored twice and has provided three assists in his last four league games since fully recovering from injury.
Özil has made 15 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners this season.
The North London based club moved into 3rd in the Premier League following their win over Crystal Palace.
Arsenal could however, move back into 4th place if Southampton win against Liverpool on Sunday 22 February.
