Barcelona boss tells agent Jorge Mendes to get rid of £29m Man United target Arda Turan in January
Barcelona star midfielder Arda Turan’s future at the La Liga giants appears to be uncertain.
The 30-year-old was linked with a move away from the club over the summer but was unable to agree a move away.
According to the Spanish outlet Don Balon, Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde is desperate to offload Turan in January. The Turkey international doesn’t appear to play a part in Valverde’s plans.
However Turan has over two years remaining on his contract with Barca and he is in no rush to leave.

Per the source, Barcelona have told football agent Jorge Mendes to get Turan off their books. The Portuguese agent played a role in bringing the former Galatasaray man to the club.
Manchester United have been linked with a move for the experienced midfielder. Spanish outlet AS claims that United boss Jose Mourinho met with the player on several occasions.
Turan – who joined the Barca for £29 million back in 2015 – scored five goals in 36 La Liga appearances for Barcelona last season. The 30-year-old is yet to feature this season.
