Leicester City v Liverpool – Probable lineups – Foxes face major injury scare, Klopp set to rotate
Leicester City take on Liverpool in the League Cup third round tonight as they look to return to winning ways.
The game takes place at the King Power stadium while kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 (GMT).
Liverpool come into tonight’s encounter without a win in their last three games. They will be up against a Leicester who have beaten the Reds on their previous two visits to King Power.
Jamie Vardy is a major doubt going into tonight’s clash. The England international was taken off during the 1-1 draw with Huddersfield due to a groin injury. Meanwhile, Matty James, Robert Huth and Christian Fuchs have all been ruled out.
Summer signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is expected to make his first start for Liverpool tonight. Goalkeeper Danny Ward and midfielder Marko Grujic are also in line to start for Klopp’s side.
