Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has returned to first team training after suffering a knee injury last week.
The Germany international was sidelined for Arsenal’s win over FC Koln in the Europa League and their 0-0 draw with Chelsea over the weekend.
Ozil took to social media to confirm his knee injury and revealed that he is back in training along with the first team. The 28-year-old included the following caption, “Good news: I’m back training on the pitch. As you might have heard I’m suffering from a minor inflammation of my knee. Feeling better each day now and hope to be back playing very soon.”
