Watch: Man City star involved in goal after 10 months out injured
Former Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood was responsible for first introducing Harry Kane into the side when he was in charge of Spurs.
Sherwood revealed that he ditched £28 million signing Roberto Soldado for Kane because the England international was already a better player despite his young age.
Kane went onto become a first team star for the North London based outfit and now has 103 goals in 171 games.

“It never even crossed my mind when I put Harry Kane in the team,” Sherwood said speaking on Sky Sports The Debate.
“All I was worried about was winning a football match.
“And I looked at a kid on a training field against a £28 million signing and I saw someone that was better than him.
“He scored in his first games.”
Soldado meanwhile could only manage 16 goals in 76 games for Spurs.
The Spanish international moved to Villarreal in 2015 before signing for Super Lig champions Fenerbahce over the summer transfer window.
Soldado has yet to score a goal for the Yellow Canaries and is expected to play second fiddle to Tottenham loanee Vincent Janssen this season.
Janssen scored on his first start for Fenerbahce in 4-1 win over Alanyaspor last weekend.
Both Soldado and Janssen are expected to make the match day squad for the Istanbul derby against Besiktas over the weekend.
Were does this joke get of rewriting history to suit he’s own agenda
