Liverpool team news: 23-man squad to face Spartak Moscow revealed, star playmaker included
Liverpool will be looking to record back-to-back victories this week when they take on Spartak Moscow in the UEFA Champions League.
The game will be played at the Otkrytiye Arena in Moscow on Tuesday night, kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 (GMT).
Jurgen Klopp’s side were held to a 2-2 draw by Sevilla at Anfield in their opening game of Group E. The Reds come into Tuesday’s clash in high spirits following their 3-2 win over Leicester City in the Premier League.
Spartak Moscow meanwhile were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Anji on Saturday.
Liverpool unveiled the 23-man squad which will travel to Russia today. Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino have all been included in the squad.
Germany international Emre Can has also been included in the squad. The 23-year-old played 70 minutes on Saturday against the Foxes. Can has under ten months remaining on his contract with Liverpool.
