Premier League champions Chelsea welcome Manchester City to Stamford Bridge for one of the most highly anticipated Premier League games of the week.

City boss Pep Guardiola will be without Benjamin Mendy who suffered a long term injury.

Star striker Kun Aguero is also out injured after being involved in a car accident in Amsterdam.

Guardiola will welcome back Gundogan who missed the 5-0 win over Crystal Palace due to injury.

The midfielder of Turkish origin made an appearance in City’s 2-1 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League mid-week.

The Blues will be without David Luiz who is suspended meaning Andreas Christensen could start in defence.

There were concerns surrounding Eden Hazard being unfit but Antonio Conte has underlined that his star man will be available.

Conte said: “If Eden was able to play against Atletico, it means he is ready to play [vs Man City].”

Morata was seen limping off in the Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid but he has been declared fit as well.
