Newcastle v Liverpool – Confirmed lineups – Reds ace returns to Klopp’s starting XI, Emre Can dropped

Liverpool take on the newly promoted Newcastle United today as they look to return to winning ways following their mid-week 1-1 draw with Spartak Moscow.

Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez will be up against his former side. The Magpies will be looking to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat at the hands of Brighton last weekend.

Klopp has restored Senegal international winger Sadio Mane to his starting lineup. The former Southampton star has served his three-game suspension for a red-card. Meanwhile, Germany international Emre Can has been dropped from Klopp’s starting eleven.

Philippe Coutinho has been included in the starting lineup. The star playmaker will play his fifth game 15 days.
