Man United & Liverpool wonder kid target makes Turkish national team squad
Mircea Lucescu has revealed his squad for the Turkish national team’s World Cup qualification games against Iceland and Finland this week.
Lucescu decided to call up Trabzonspor wonder-kid Yusuf Yazici once again.
Turkish outlet Fanatik reporting that Manchester United and Liverpool are among several European clubs interested in Yazici.
The report also claims that Monaco are preparing a €14 million offer for the attacking midfielder.
Lucescu has made hardly any changes to the side that beat Croatia over the last round of games.
Sabri Sarioglu has returned to the squad after years in the wilderness.
The in-form full back has become the first Goztepe player to be called up for the national team in 35 years.
Twenty one year old Caglar Soyuncu of Freiburg, 20-year-old Villarreal striker Enes Unal and Roma winger Cengiz Under have also made the squad.
Nineteen year old Celta Vigo starlet Emre Mor has also been named.
Lucescu has balanced his squad between youth and experience. Midfield veteran Emre Belozoglu has returned to the fold alongside Arda Turan.
