Liverpool transfer news: Reds monitor £22m Tottenham target as Emre Can replacement
Liverpool are on the look-out for a new central midfielder amid reports linking Emre Can with a move away from the club.
Can has under nine months remaining on his contract with the Merseyside based club and could end up leaving the club for free unless a new deal is struck.
The 23-year-old has frequently been linked with a move to Serie A champions Juventus over recent months.
According to the Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb, Liverpool have been monitoring Inter midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia as a potential replacement for Can.
Per the source, Kondogbia has a £22 million release clause in his contract and is also being scouted by Tottenham.
