Club president confirms Man City have ‘made him an offer’ for the Turkish Donnarumma
Altinordu wonder-kid Berke Ozer has had no shortage of interest from across Europe after breaking into the first team despite being aged 17.
Manchester City have been closely linked with the young goalkeeper touted as the “Turkish Donnarumma” for months now.
Club president Mehmet Ozkan has confirmed City making an offer and revealed they will support Berke in his pursuit of Premier League football.
“We want him to play in Europe, if Berke has a great season the odds of him moving to the Premier League are high,” Ozkan said in Emre Sarigul’s latest article for the Guardian.
“Manchester City already made him an offer. We will see what the future holds.”

Berke was recently named in the Guardian Next Generation series, 60 best young talents in world football.
Despite his young age Berke is already a first-team keeper for Altinordu and had two games under his belt before taking part in the FIFA U-17 World Cup in India this month.
Ozer has returned to Turkey and is expected to feature as a first-choice keeper until the end of the season.
