Maribor v Liverpool Probable lineup – Jurgen Klopp facing injury headache ahead of crucial Champions League clash
Liverpool face Maribor in the first of the double-header against the Slovenian side on Tuesday night.
The UEFA Champions League clash takes place at the Ljudski vrt stadium and kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 (GMT).
Liverpool have got their European campaign off to a slow start after failing to defeat Sevilla at home and being held to a 1-1 draw by Spartak Moscow.
Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to pick up six points from their double-header against Maribor.
The German tactician will be unable to call up his star forward Sadio Mane who is sidelined for up-to six weeks with a hamstring injury. Meanwhile Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne are also sidelined for this week’e encounter.
Klopp will likely mix up his side after the weekend’s match against Manchester United, with the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Dominic Solanke pushing for starts in Mane’s absence.
