‘It’s worrying how tired some players are’ – Man City fans call for star midfielder to be drafted in for Burnley clash
Manchester City recorded their third successive Champions League win after beating Napoli 2-1 at the Etihad on Tuesday 17 October.
Only four other teams have won all three games, Barcelona, PSG, Manchester United and Besiktas.
City have been in great form and are top of the Premier League table but fans on social media appeared concerned with the fitness of the first-team.
There were calls on Twitter for head coach Pep Guardiola to make changes ahead of the next game against Burnley.

The consensus seemed to be for Ilkay Gundogan to be drafted in.
The midfielder of Turkish origin will have started his second game of the season in all competitions.
Gundogan has been slowly working his way back into the first-team after a lengthy spell on the sidelines recovering from a knee injury.
Team vs Burnley: I would make 4 changes.
Danilo for Delph
Gundogan for Silva
Bernardo for Sterling
Aguero for Jesus pic.twitter.com/NBlnXZogwF— Guardiolista (@BlueCitizen007) October 18, 2017
Fatigue is starting to tell. Rotation necessary against Burnley. Danilo, Gundogan, Aguero, Bernado should start. Zinchenko, Brahim bench.

I don’t mind seeing KDB, Gundogan, and Danilo as CDM against Burnley. Ferna needs rest.

We shouldn’t underestimate Burnley. Good away record. But i’d go Danilo for Walker. Kun for Jesus. Bernardo for DSilva and Gundogan for KDB.

It’s worrying how tired some players are ALREADY. That’s why we got Gundogan, Bernardo, Danilo, Yaya, Aguero. Expect major changes v Burnley

I’d put Danilo, give B.Silva a start and Gundogan forsure. May even be nice to see Mangala for a CB. Players looked exhausted second half

Re this, the general discussion today is that Gundogan will replace Fernandinho, who’s battery goes flat after a while
