Arsenal star ‘confident’ that he will be reunited with Mourinho at Man United
Arsenal star Mesut Ozil continues to face an uncertain future at the Emirates as his enters the last few months of his contract.
Ozil has under 12 months remaining on his current deal but has yet to sign a new agreement.
The playmaker of Turkish origin could end up leaving the North London based outfit on a free transfer unless a breakthrough is made.
The Mirror reports that Ozil has abandoned plans of remaining at Arsenal in favour of joining Manchester United.
Per the source, the 2014 World Cup winner is confident he will join the Red Devils.
United boss Jose Mourinho is no stranger to Ozil and was his manager at Real Madrid.
Mourinho has described Ozil as being the ‘best number 10 in the world’ in the past.

“He is the best number 10 in the world,” Mourinho said when Ozil joined Arsenal in 2013.
“He makes things very easy for his team-mates with his football vision and the decisions he makes.”
The playmaker had a terrific record record at Real playing wide providing 81 assists and scoring 27 goals in all competitions.
Ozil are reportedly been asking for £350,000-a-week to sign a new deal.
The North London based outfit offered £275,000-a-week last season but Mirror Sport claim the Gunners interest in keeping him has now cooled.
Despite the latest reports Ozil’s agent Dr Erkut Sogut recently revealed that talks were still ongoing.
“Ozil wants to play another 2-3 years in the Premier League,” Sogut told Fanatik.
“Talks with Arsenal are ongoing regarding a new deal, what I can say right now is that negotiations are going well.”
