Serie A giants Juventus haven’t given up hopes of signing Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can.

The Italian champions tabled a bid for the 23-year-old over the summer transfer window however, Liverpool resisted all offers for their star man.

Can could end up leaving the Reds for free next summer after failing to pen a new deal. The Germany international has under nine months remaining on his contract with Liverpool.

According to the Italian outlet calciomercato, Juventus are prepared to part company with £27 million in order to sign Can.

The 23-year-old told German outlet Kicker earlier this season it was an ‘honour’ to be linked with a club of Juventus’ stature.
