Vincent Kompany will miss this weekends encounter with a calf injury which has kept him out of action for over a month.
Summer signing Benjamin Mendy is also sidelined for this weekend’s clash with West Brom. The France international underwent a knee operation earlier this month as is expected to miss the majority of the season.
Star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan could make his first start for City in the League this weekend as he nears full match fitness.
