Everton have joined Newcastle United, Tottenham and Crystal Palace as one of seven sides in the race for Besiktas star Cenk Tosun.

Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik report that clubs the clubs mentioned above as well as AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg are preparing offers for the Turkish international.

Per the source, Tottenham and Everton have entered talks with Tosun’s representatives.

Tosun is reported to be keen on a Premier League move but that he wants to stay at Besiktas until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old has another two-years remaining on his contract and Besiktas currently value their star man as being worth £20 million.

Tosun has been in impressive form this season scoring three goals in three Champions League games this season.

The Germany born forward has a total of eight goals and two assists in 13 appearances for Besiktas in all competitions.

Tosun also picked up the award for the Champions League goal of the week on Match Day 1 for his strike in the 3-1 win against Porto.

The powerful forward played an important role in Besiktas lifting the league title for the past two seasons.

Tosun is expected to be scouted by several scouts for the Black Eagles Champions League clash against Monaco in the Vodafone Arena on Wednesday.

Besiktas will book a place in the next round if they get a point from their last three Group G games.
