Guardiola receives boost as star duo make Man City squad ahead of Napoli clash, Kompany & Mendy fail to make trip
Manchester City take on Serie A giants Napoli on Wednesday for the Champions League Match Day 4 clash at the Stadio San Paolo Stadium.
A win for the Citizens would guarantee a first place finish in Group F and maintain their 100 percent win record.
Only City, PSG, Besiktas and Manchester United have won all their games in the competition so far.
City and Besiktas however, have played one fewer game than PSG and United who both won their Match Day 4 clash yesterday.
Pep Guardiola will be without defensive duo Vincent Kompany and Benjamin Mendy.
After leaving Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling out of his starting line up against West Brom over weekend, the star forwards could be set for recalls after making the travelling squad.
Midfielder of Turkish origin Ilkay Gundogan has also made the squad and will be hoping for his first Champions League start since recovering from a long term knee injury.
