‘Claude Puel factor’ – Leicester City lead the race to sign PSG star in January
Leicester City have been linked with a move for the France international Hatem Ben Arfa.
According to the daily Turkish newspaper Fanatik, the Foxes are leading the race to sign the flamboyant midfielder.
Per the source, Super League giants Fenerbahce are also keen on signing Ben Arfa during the January transfer window.
Fanatik go onto state that the ‘Claude Puel factor’ puts Leicester City in pole position to sign the 30-year-old.
Claude Puel replaced Craig Shakespeare as manager of Leicester City last month. The French tactician worked with Ben Arfa during his spell at Nice.
Fenerbahce are desperate to bolster their squad in the new year following a disastrous start to the 2017-18 season.

The Yellow Canaries sit in seventh place with 17 points after 11 games. The Istanbul giants are nine points behind leaders Galatasaray.
Ben Arfa is currently contracted to PSG however, the 30-year-old is yet to feature for the Paris based club this season.
