Revealed: Arsenal star could still sign new deal if Wenger gives him Jack Wilshere’s shirt
Mesut Ozil Arsenal future is still cast in doubt as he enters the final seven months of his contract.
The 29-year-old could end up leaving the north London-based club for free unless a new deal can be agreed.
According to the Sun, Ozil will be willing to put pen-to-paper on a new contract if Arsene Wenger gives him the number 10 shirt.
However, England international Jack Wilshere currently wears that very shirt number.
Per the source, Ozil, who currently wears the number 11 jersey, wants to switch over to number 10 in order to boost his brand.
The Sun goes onto state that Ozil also wants a significant increase on his £150,000-a-week wages.

Arsenal suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester City on Sunday. The north London-based side dropped down to sixth place with 19 points after 11 games.
