Arsenal star Mesut Ozil faces an uncertain future at the Emirates as he nears the last six months of his contract.

Ozil has yet to sign an agreement and unless an extension is signed the playmaker will leave as a free agent next summer.

Uncertainty over the future of Ozil at Arsenal has resulted in numerous transfer rumours over who should replace the star man.

One name being tipped to fill the void that would be left by Ozil should he leave is Oguzhan Ozyakup.

The former Gunners academy player rose through the youth ranks before joining Besiktas for just £500,000 five-years ago.

Ozyakup has gone onto become a star player in Turkey playing a key role in his side winning back to back league titles of the past two seasons.

The Turkish international has also proven he can cut it in the Champions League.

The Besiktas captain has played an important role in his sides impressive run. The Eagles are first in Group G with 10 points after four games, beating Porto, Monaco and Red Bull Leipzig along the way.

Fans were asked in a poll by The Sun newspaper if Ozyakup is the right guy to replace Ozil.

3087 people have voted so far, 46 percent feel he is the right man 54 percent disagree.
