Hilbert looking foward to playing against Arda Turan [divider]

Bayer Leverkusen fullback Roberto Hilbert admitted that he is looking forward to facing Atletico Madrid star Arda Turan in the Champions League Last 16.

“Arda Turan is a great player, probably one of the best Turkish players,” Hilbert told Bügün.

Turan has three goals and six assists for Atleti in 30 appearances for Atleti this season.

The 28-year-old became the first Turkish player to win the La Liga last season. Turan has also won the Europa League, European Super Cup and Copa del Rey with Atleti.

The Rojiblancos travel to Germany to take on Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League quarter-finals on Wednesday 25 February.

The La Liga champions reached the final of the elite European club football competition last season.

Hilbert joined Bayer Leverkusen on a free transfer from Beşiktaş in 2013.

The German fullback has three assists in 13 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit this season and has been included in Bayer’s Champions League squad.
