Man United boss Jose Mourinho stunned after star midfielder rejects latest contract offer

Manchester United star midfielder Marouane Fellaini could be on his way out of Old Trafford after rejecting a new deal.

The Belgium international has been closely linked with a move to the Turkish Super League in recent weeks.

Fellaini – who has under seven months remaining on his contract – could end up leaving United for free next summer unless a new deal is agreed.

According to the Sun, the combative midfielder has rejected United’s latest contract offer. The news has reportedly left Jose Mourinho stunned.

Fellaini will now be able to hold contract talks with foreign clubs from January 1 onwards.

Per the source, Turkish champions Besiktas have expressed a ‘big interest‘ in the 29-year-old.

Meanwhile, a source close to Fenerbahce revealed to Turkish-Football that talks between the Yellow Canaries and Fellaini’s representatives have already been held.

Fellaini has made just nine appearances for Manchester United so far this season, with six of them coming of the bench.

The Red Devils take on Newcastle United this weekend in the Premier League.
