“North London is Red” – Arsenal superstar fires shots at Tottenham on social media following derby win
Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has fired shots at Tottenham on social media following his sides win over rivals Tottenham.
The German international declared north London as “Red‘ after helping his side win the derby.
Ozil played an integral role in his side’s victory with an assist for the Gunners opener. The 29-year-old was also named as man of the match by Sky Sports commentator Gary Neville.
Arsenal moved up into fifth place with 22 points after 12 games. Arsene Wenger’s side take on FC Koln in the Europa League next week.
Ozil shared a photo of his teammates in the dressing room following the final whistle and included the following caption, “YA GUNNERS YA! Massive derby win today. NORTH LONDON. IS. RED.”
