Star striker’s father travels to England to hold talks over joining Newcastle
Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun has been closely linked with a move to Newcastle United this season.
The Turkish international’s father Senol Tosun reportedly travelled to England to hold talks with Newcastle officials according to Sport Arena.
Per the source, Senol represents his son and will hold talks with Besiktas next over what their plans are for the striker.
Negotiations between Besiktas and Newcastle are expected to continue over the next few weeks.
The Eagles are not keen on selling their star man in January unless the price is right.

The report claims that the Magpies sent scouts to watch Tosun in Turkey’s 3-2 defeat to Albania over the international break.
Newcastle are also set to scout the 26-year-old in the Black Eagles Champions League Group G Match Day 5 clash against Porto today.
Tosun is almost certain to start for the reigning Super Lig champions in Istanbul.
The prolific forward has four goals and an assist in four Champions League games this season.
Tosun scored the Match Day 1 goal of the week in the 3-1 win against Porto in Portugal.
The striker has 10 goals in 15 appearances for Besiktas in all competitions.
