Barcelona table cash plus star midfielder for Arsenal’s £42m Mesut Ozil
Barcelona look set to step up their interest in Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil.
According to the Spanish outlet Don Balon, Barcelona are interested in signing the Germany international for a cut-price fee in January.
Per the source, the La Liga giants have tabled a player-plus-cash of offer which involves Portugal international midfielder Andre Gomes.
Arsenal may decide to cash in on Ozil in January rather than lose him for free at the end of the season. The 29-year-old has under seven months left on his current contract with the north London-based club.

The news will come as a blow to Arsenal fans who watched Ozil put on a magnificent show against their rivals Tottenham.
