Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can has decided to donate his trainers to ‘provide support to those in need.’

The 23-year-old is getting involved by donating his favourite pair of Nike trainers and has urged fellow fans to get involved too.

Can shared a video of himself talking about the project on social media and included the following caption, “I have partnered up with the NGO @soles4souls to provide support to those in need. I’m getting involved by donating and re-boxing my favourite pair of Nike Air Max shoes.

“Get involved by bringing a pair of your sneakers down to your local Foot Locker store. You don’t have to be famous, you just have to be generous! All of us can help!”
